  • Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests) — our legitimate interest in marketing and improving our services.

8. Cookies

We use cookies to analyse traffic and target advertising. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie banner on the website.

Measuring Facebook and Instagram advertising

If you consent to advertising in our cookie settings, we use Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API to measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram advertising. We record page views and successful submissions of our enquiry forms. Server-side measurement sends events directly from our web server at Simply to Meta and also requires your consent.

The information includes the event type, time, a randomly generated event ID, the page address without query parameters or fragments, IP address, browser information, and Meta cookie and click IDs where available. This Meta integration does not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, message contents or job applications. Careers and privacy pages are excluded from the new integration.

The _fbp and _fbc cookies help attribute visits and enquiries to advertisements. They are set only after consent and last for up to 90 days. _fbc is set only when a valid Meta click ID is present. Browser and server events share an event ID so Meta can avoid counting the same action twice.

You can refuse advertising or withdraw your consent through Cookie settings. This stops new events from this integration and removes its Meta cookies from your browser. Withdrawal does not automatically erase information already sent to Meta. See Meta’s Privacy Policy for information about its processing and your options.
